The Pinnacle condos located in downtown San Diego were completed in December 2005 and the residents after living there for over a year were asked to review the building rate it in a dozen categories. The results of the survey put the Pinnacle condos near the top of the ranking for the downtown condo buildings. The Pinnacle condos scored five out of five stars in several categories: Views, Security, Concierge, Pool and Building Maintenance. The Pinnacle residents rated the building low in: Noise (mainly from the trains) and quality of construction.

Pinnacle condo residents boasted about the views, especially the unobstructed views from the higher floors. Residents also like its location and high level of amenities. Residents there like in most buildings wish the developer had made some extra parking spaces for visitors.

The Pinnacle condos are 35 stories tall and located in the Marina District neighborhood in downtown San Diego. There are approximately 200 condos in the building with prices ranging from $500,000 to $5 million. The Pinnacle condos offer 24-hour concierge and security, lap pool, hot tub, media lounge with large screen cinema, entertainment room with billiards, conference room, private guest suite, gym, sauna and steam room. The number of condo units per floor decrease as you goes up the tower to the penthouse which was planned to be two separate units but purchased by one individual and combined. The average price of a sold condo in the Pinnacle between 2005 and 2006, increased 1.4% , as reported through the MLS (Sandicor).
